They started out with underwear back in 2014. They hit their crowdfunding target within 24 hours. And from that moment Organic Basics was born. They now offer a whole range of activewear and everyday essentials.

They invest in high quality fabrics and workmanship — and follow the scandinavian principle of simplicity. Materials are picked based on two things: the environmental footprint and lifetime durability.

Every website you visit transfers data. Data transfer uses electricity. And electricity creates carbon emissions. Organic Basics created a low impact version of their site to combat this. The low impact site uses 70% less CO₂ than their normal site.

Twice each year they donate a chunk of their profits to grassroots activists and organizations that advocate for both the planet and communities. It's called the Organic Basics Fund. Helping to fight climate change, restore biodiversity and protect vulnerable communities.
